The Fall wedding of Carmen Curtis and Seth Jensen will be an absolutely gorgeous affair.  The ceremony will take place at St. Patrick's Church in Gretna, NE and the reception will be set in the backyard of the Bride's Childhood Home. This location for the ceremony was chosen because it's the Groom's Home Church, and both the bride and groom love the outdoors, so a Backyard Tent reception was the ideal choice for them.

The decor at the church will be minimal, mainly candles lining the aisle with burgandy flower petals. A string quartet will play music during the ceremony.  The marriage will be ordained by a priest at the church, and  the couple plans to write their own Vows for the ceremony.

The cake will be red velvet with cream cheese frosting and will be accented with flowers. Later on in the evening after dessert the guests will get the opportunity to create their own special bag of popcorn, which is a treat the couple loves dearly and wants their guests to enjoy.

The colors they have chosen will help create a romantic and upscale atmosphere. These colors include: burgandy, beige, pale-pink, and touches of gold.  The centerpieces will be gold votive tea candles and floral centerpieces accenting the chosen color palette.Candle light will help create a warm, romantic feel throughout the tent and their will be globe lights strung across the tent as well for extra light as the evening goes on.

Carmen and Seth both met while in the Choir at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, so music will play an important part of their ceremony and reception. There will be a String Quartet for the ceremony and a  live band at the reception.

Appetizers will be served that represent the couples favorite snack foods, which include: shrimp cocktail, mini sliders and mini grilled cheese with tomato soup shooters. Dinner will be served buffet style, with items such as herb roasted chicken, red potatoes, asparagus and mixed green salad.

After dancing the night away, guests will bid the lovely couple farewell with a sparkler send-off.  The bride and groom will then ride off in style, in a vintage vehicle owned by the Bride's Father.  It is destined to be an incredible evening that guests and the couple will likely never forget.
